Mrs. Ina Frances Sparks, 83, of White House passed away March 22, 2015. She was born in Auburntown, TN on November 21, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Clare Kennedy and Pearl Spurlock Kennedy; her husband Richard M. Sparks; step-daughter, Lorene Bennett and step-granddaughter, Marissa Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Jana & Alvin Krantz of White House; step-daughters, Genie & Lee Marr, Beverly & John Watson and Tonya Reynolds; a brother, John W. & Betty Kennedy of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren. Mrs. Sparks moved to Nashville at an early age with her family. She graduated from East High School. She was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Sparks loved to read constantly. She enjoyed watching westerns and listening to Blue Grass. She and her husband spent many happy times camping and fishing in Dover and going to Blue Grass Festivals. Her true joy came from spending time with her family. She especially loved staying with them during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 10-12 pm. Graveside services will follow in Donnell Cemetery. Pastor Alvin Krantz and Rev. Jim Rich will officate.
