James Arthur Rowland

Mr. James Arthur Rowland, 79, of Bradyville passed away on February 12, 2016. He was born in Murfreesboro, TN on April 8, 1936. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Alice Rowland Stem and a brother, Eugene Stem.He is survived by his son, Dennis Rowland and daughter, Rita Miller both of Bradyville; three grandchildren, Peyton, Shawn and Denny and three great grandchildren, Kayla, Kaylee and Cameron.Mr. Rowland loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also liked to play guitar for family and friends. Mr. Rowland owned and operated a tractor trailer for many years. He was a member of Minerva Drive Baptist Church. After he became ill he enjoyed watching religious programs on television.Mr. Rowland’s request was for his body to be cremated and the family to hold a private service.
