Rhonda Jeanette Maxwell

Mrs. Rhonda Maxwell, 61, of Lebanon passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2017. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on August 17, 1955. She was a longtime resident of Murfreesboro and currently of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Vincent Miller, and Ruth Ann Glock Miller and by a brother, Ronnie Miller. She is survived by her husband, Marc Maxwell of Lebanon; son, David Bierbaum, Jr. of Lebanon; daughter, Jennifer Bain of Bradyville; step-daughter, Mary Sellers of Shelbyville; brothers, Paul Miller, Jr. of Istanbul, Turkey, David Miller of Cummings, GA, John(Nikol) Miller of Smyrna, and George Miller of Cookeville; sisters, Marsha(David) Dulaney of Daniel Island, SC , Marie(Pat) Howell of Hixson, Cathy(Michael) Barbieri of Roswell, GA, and Connie Mullins; sister-in-law, Lisa Miller of Nolensville; and by four grandchildren, Blake Bain, Anthony Bain, Ashton Bain and Caitlyn Bierbaum. Mrs. Maxwell graduated from St. Edwards Catholic School in Nashville. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Murfreesboro. She was a hard worker, holding many different types of jobs over the years. One of her favorite jobs was sewing. She worked with her mother as a seamstress at Seams To Be. She loved spending time with her family, especially, her grandchildren. Cooking for her family gave her a lot of satisfaction. They all loved her chocolate pecan pies, white fudge, and homemade doughnuts. Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1 pm in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Tony Burnett will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses in lieu of flowers. Contact Smith Funeral Home for details.
