Mr. Coy Lynn Parker, 75, of Bradyville, TN passed away on May 23, 2019. He was born on January 13, 1944 in Bradyville. His parents were the late Houston Roosevelt Parker and Mary Isabell Reed Parker. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Todd; brothers, Kenneth Parker and Grady Parker; sister, Norma Simpson Vance; niece Brenda Parker; and a great nephew, Logan Parker.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Fletcher Parker of Bradyville; twin brother, Roy (Shirley) Parker of Woodbury; son-in-law, Jeffery Todd; grandchildren, Houston Chandler Todd and Addison Olivia Todd.

Mr. Coy was born, raised, and lived his whole life in Bradyville. He graduated Woodbury Central High School in the Class of 1962. He met and married the love of his life and they planned to celebrate 55 years of marriage on July 10th. He retired from General Electric working for over 30 years. He also spent about 10 years working for the CO-OP in Woodbury. He loved being outdoors. When he was in good health, he enjoyed hunting rabbits, raising beagles, planting a garden, and mowing the yard. He and his twin brother shared a special bond and he loved Roy very much. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had been teaching his grandson how to plant and raise a garden and looked forward to seeing him harvest vegetables this year. His grandchildren called him Poppy and they enjoyed spending time together. He was happy to sit and watch an old western, wrestling, or most kinds of sports when he wasn’t outside doing something. He didn’t mind helping Mrs. Patsy with anything she needed, washing dishes, laundry, or anything else.
