The gale force wind that was Heather-Rose Goodmaster age 43 shifted to a whisper on August 21, 2026. Born in Derby, Connecticut on January 31, 1983, daughter of Vincent and LisaMaria' Goodmaster. Heather was a sister, mother and a grandmother. She is survived by her beloved children, Tristen Ryan Goodmaster, Ravenna Beth McCardle and her cherished granddaughter, Autumn Rose, who carries her name and legacy into the future. Brother, Christopher Vincent Goodmaster of Texas, uncle, Alfred Goodmasterof Nevada, and by Mark Williams who was an anchor for Heather, standing by her side through all the bends in her life's journey. His unwavering devotion and friendship meant the world to her.

Heather moved with her family to Tennessee in 1987. It was there that she grew up embracing a simple, beautiful country life. She spent her youth exploring and loving the woods, developing a deep connection to nature that would inspire her for the rest of her days.

Heather was a vibrant soul known for her deep creativity, quick wit and artistic talent. She brought immense humor and warmth to the lives of those who knew her, leaving behind beautiful memories of her loving and giving spirit. Heather found great peace and inspiration in the beauty of nature, a passion that deeply influenced her creative spirit.

Heather Rose was a woman who walked between worlds. The world within her was largely a mystery to those who loved her. We were only given glimpses of her struggles. To be trapped in a world of your mind's creation, where her fears were pulled from her subconscious, is a torment that not many would be able to survive. Heather sought out any escape from her mental illness, some unorthodox, in order to protect herself, and ultimately protect her family.

Heather was so much more than her mental illness. She was a mother, a veteran, and an artist. She created fantastical creatures with incredible detail to their stories. Her humor was sharp but charming. And above all she was fierce in her love, compassion and generosity was reflected in her need to support those around her, even when she was struggling. In her final days, she fought and tried so hard to come back to being a fully active part of her son Tristen's and her granddaughter Autumn Rose's life. That fierce effort was a testament to the immense love she held for them.

Those closest to her spoke of her struggles to build a life where she could be an involved daughter, mother and grandmother. Heather was tenacious and would have fought her way back to her friends and family if her life hadn't been tragically cut short. She was so many things to so many people and will be forever carried in our hearts.
