Kathleen Hoover

Mrs. Kathleen Hoover, 81, of Woodbury, Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. She was born in Hartsville, Tennessee on Wednesday, August 9, 1944. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lee A. and Willie Johnson; and brothers, Leroy Johnson, Wayne Johnson, and Bobby Johnson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Joe Hoover of Woodbury; son, Larry Wayne (Deann) Hoover of Readyville; granddaughter, Anna Grace (Jordon) Brown; and great grandson, Carter Brown.

Mrs. Kathleen's story will be shared later today.

Visitation will be held at Gentry-Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 11 am – 3 pm. Funeral services will follow directly after on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3 pm in the Gentry-Smith Funeral Home chapel. Ralph Richardson will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Short Mountain Bible Camp.
