Nicole "Kole" Leigh Carson, 41, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2026 at her home in Smithville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Langford, and step-dad, James Parker. She leaves behind her wife, Taylor Carson; children, Anna, Jakob, Stormy, and Lilly; dad, Vince (Sheena) Will; sister, Elizabeth (Buddy) Bain; and several nieces and nephews.
On September 3, 2021, Kole met her soulmate, Tay - her missing puzzle piece. She instantly became the happiest she had ever been, gaining everything she ever wanted in a family. She became Stormy and Lilly's everything and stepped into the role of being their mom, showing them love and so much more. Kole and Tay were soulmates, best friends, and each others "person." The love they shared was one of a kind - that "better together" kind of love. Kole was finally able to know true love.
Kole was a firecracker all the time but with Tay she was different. She was loving and finally herself. Kole loved all kids, especially her own. Anna, Jakob, Stormy, and Lilly were her babies, but she loved them along with everyone else's kids. She also loved animals. She fostered so many for her small town of Smithville. Losing her will take a big part of so many hearts, but knowing she is suffering no more will help ease the pain.
The family will hold services at a later date. If you attend, they are requesting people to wear red in honor of Kole.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with expenses.
