Mr. Om Ahuja, 76, of Woodbury passed away on February 26, 2024. He was born on May 30, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents. he is survived by his wife, Soniya Ahuja; sons, Rahul “Rocky” Jinwal and Ash Jinwal; daughter, Anuradha Sharad “Twinkle” More; and two grandchildren.

He was born in India Pakistan just prior to the separation of India and Pakistan. He was of Indian heritage and made his home in India after the separation.

Mr. Om had a thirst for knowledge and a desire to further his education. He attended a university in Munich, Germany and earned four master’s degrees. One of which was in electrical engineering. He worked in Germany for a time until he immigrated to the United States and became a citizen. Calling the United States home for over 40 years.

His intelligence, honesty, and affable character allowed him to excel in business and in making friends. Of all his great accomplishments his greatest was being a good husband, father, grandfather, and provider for his family. They will grieve the loss of their patriarch and leader of their family. Although, he left a great example for them to follow.
