Mrs. Shirley Ann Baxter, 50, of Murfreesboro passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2019. She was a native of Murfreesboro, TN born on August 7, 1969. She was preceded in death by her father, Shirley Clayton Warrick.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ty Baxter of Murfreesboro; mother, Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Lee Warrick of Murfreesboro; daughter, Tiffany (Dustin) Higginbotham of Lebanon; brothers, Johnny (Kim) Warrick, Clayton “Junior” (Leslie) Warrick, Robert Warrick all of Murfreesboro, James (Tabitha) Warrick of Manchester; and grandchildren, Destin and Kinsley Higginbotham.
She was a graduate of Riverdale High School in the Class of 1987. She met Ty while in school and married right after graduation. She loved kids and worked for many years with Kids R Kids Daycare. Her grandchildren were especially loved. She and Destin were nearly inseparable. She enjoyed waiting on him “hand and foot” and spoiling him with all kinds of things. She and Mr. Ty were hard workers and led simple lives. She had always dreamed of a family trip to Florida. They had been blessed to go in the last couple of years to make a special memory together. She enjoyed working with her hands crocheting and having a peaceful evening watching movies and tv with her family. Through the years she had attended church at First Freewill Baptist and the House of Prayer and Praise.
